Keale's 1st Homecoming Dance

Well, we made it through the first dance. She looked really fabulous (of course I'm biased because she's my daughter)! Here are several photos taken on the backyard deck. Her friend Grace (sandy blonde) was at our house getting ready with Keale. Grace's twin brother Taylor came over to give his sister a corsage- very sweet. And the other friend is Melanie (dark brown hair) and their friend Evan (he took Melanie to the dance). There was a mixed group of about 8 of them that went to O'Charleys for dinner and then we dropped them at the dance.

They seemed to have lots of fun dancing and hanging out with their friends. Yeah!

Fun at Virgina Beach!!!!

After Washington D.C. we drove down to Williamsburg for a day and a quick trip through Busch Gardens, Europe (roller coaster yeah!), then on to Virginia Beach for three days. Really pretty and nice weather. Gage & Ellis were digging for burried treasure, but didn't come up with anything.

The kids really enjoyed their own room, next to ours - we were spoiled with the awesome view!

Here are some of the other animals that we saw. The Elephant was pretty entertaining!!! When we saw the Elephants they were feeding. It was pretty neat to watch.

The Zoo!!!!

We went to the Zoo in D.C. Man was it crowded!! They had a baby panda there that was turning 1 years old. It's name is Tai Shan and boy was it cute. Out of all the days we just happened to pick that day when they were giving out cupcakes to the first 1,000 people to celebrate Tai Shan's Birthday. I have never seen so many people run for free stuff!! They gave out magnets, coloring books about pandas, Chinese take-out boxes, juice boxes and more.
Here our some of the pictures we took in Washington D.C!!! Everyone enjoyed the trip a lot. We saw the White House, the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, the Spy Museum and the Smithsonian. The Smithsonian Building we went into had the First Ladies Inauguration Dresses. We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for unfortuantly only 2 days. We definantly could have stayed about a week!
